You already know what it feels like to carry the stress of living within your mind and body. As the world continues to face numerous challenges, your stress is exaggerated and shared by those you live and work with. As a clinical psychologist who specializes in using Energy Psychology (EP) techniques, I am looking for ways to help more people access these beneficial tools. While I utilize a variety of EP techniques within a clinical setting, I also teach people how to use some basic practices which empower self-healing and practical intervention in those moments when life gets very tough.

Bradley Nelson, DC created The Emotion Code, The Body Code, and the Belief Code. These various techniques are offered by practitioners trained through Dr. Nelson’s company, Discover Healing. I often integrate The Emotion Code and The Body Code in my clinical sessions. Dr. Nelson released a book entitle The Emotion Code which guides the reader or listener to understand the theory and practice involved in this technique. It is available through all book sellers and most audio services and is required for this mentoring experience. This is important for two reasons. First, I am offering mentoring on the information provided in the book for your personal use of The Emotion Code. Second, this is not a practitioner training course which is only offered through Discover Healing.

The Mentoring Experience with Kathy will cover some basics about Energy Psychology and the underlying rationale for The Emotion Code. You’ll explore muscle testing and other ways to communicate directly with your Body Wisdom which guides the process. A protocol for self-treatment will be reviewed and practiced. In the week in between the ZOOM Mentoring Sessions with Kathy you’ll have the opportunity to practice with self sessions. The second mentoring session will offer the opportunity for questions that arose and to explore how to offer an Emotion Code session to your family members or pets.

Reading The Emotion Code book and exploring the work together will offer you the opportunity to address current emotional tension, as well as discover what emotion (energy) has been stored in your body and energy field. When you become more comfortable with the technique, you’ll find it easy to use whenever needed. Additionally, with this broad overview and very practical exploration, you may return to the book with greater understanding of all that is shared there.

If you have questions, I’ll be happy to address them if in the scope of this mentoring experience. Feel free to bring a notebook in the event you want to take notes. The class will be recorded for your review.
