It is important that you are physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy enough to participate in program activities. If you’re in the midst of a serious physical or emotional healing path, we may not be able to accommodate you. You’re welcome to explore this topic with Kathy prior to registering for the Journey.

Every participant will first have a Exploratory ZOOM session to make sure it’s a great match in all directions. You can schedule that discovery call prior to registering. Come prepared with any questions and hesitations. Just so you know, this isn’t an energy healing session with Kathy. Plan on an enriching conversation to help you clarify your decision.

So much time! Every day, your intimate group will enjoy the presence of the shamans. This Journey is limited to 15 participants so you have rich exchanges in the teaching circles, your private sessions, all ceremonies, and the casual conversations as you process insights. The shamans will be sharing meals, living in the nucleo, and enjoying every trip outside of Damanhur.

This Journey of Awakening is for you, for them, and for the world that will be served by all of you upon your return home. So, you’re also supporting the shamans direct experience with the Temples, selfic healing sessions, the land, and the Damanhurians. So, you’ll give them plenty of space to process it all.

This Journey enriches you, the shamans, Damanhur, and the stewardship of all life. It is a unique opportunity to receive more than you can imagine while offering Hatun Munay (great love) to the world and our shared future.

First off, please trust yourself. Engage your intuitive wisdom and ask this question: how shall I prepare for this transformative adventure?  Be practical as you consider all levels of your being: physical, emotional, mental, energetic, relational, financial, etc. Once you’re clear, let go the planning mind. This is a mystical journey, so you won’t be looking at manuals, SMART goals, and project plans. You’re strengthening the capacity to live in flow with the universal wisdom which always considers everyone’s best interests. Imagine that.

With that said, we’ll all be preparing together within a supportive community. Even prior to our Preparing for the Journey ZOOM calls, you’ll be receiving information about Damanhur and suggestions for getting ready. Kathy will offer a lot of information about Damanhur, the Temples of Humankind, the Crystal Labyrinth project, the special trips, logistics, and best practices to prepare for the very highly refined energy throughout Damanhur. 

You’re traveling within a group of Shamanic Practitioners and Munay Ki Practitioners, all of whom have a wealth of training, knowledge, and experience. Use what you know and trust you’ll be inspired by the group’s ideas for preparation. Be easy with this. Remember the Lineages, your Soul, and the cosmic light are guiding your every step.

So, drop in right now. Become still, breathe for a bit, and befriend your Soul. What’s YOUR intention for this epic journey of personal transformation? Nope! While Kathy offers many services specifically designed for women, this is not one of them. However you identify, know you are welcome. You’ll be exploring the principles and energy of the Feminine and Masculine in harmonious relationship. As you already know, we’re talking about the movement of energy and how this translates into qualities and actions. This isn’t a reference to gender.

Both guesthouses and the hotel in Turin are designed for double occupancy. Space is limited to preserve the integrity and intimacy of the group. We’ll do our best to accommodate housing if your gender identification is fluid and if you are one of the final people to register, however matching appropriate roommates may not be possible. Register early to ensure a spot.

That’s perfectly understandable. Know this, you’ll be enthusiastically welcomed with open arms as you meet with Kathy, join the group ZOOM gatherings, and travel through each day in Damanhur. This immersive journey will lead you into a space of connection with yourself, the group and your Damanhurian friends, the natural world, and the loving cosmic energies. You’ll discover a depth of human friendship and generosity. Jump in. We’ll be so happy to receive you and you’ll be really glad you came.

As you get closer to the trip, you’ll be offered a room and roommate in one of two beautiful guesthouses. This placement will be carefully considered and suited to your intentions for the Journey. If you are traveling with a friend or partner and choose to room together, please let us know when you register so we can make that happen. 

You’ll also have the opportunity to join two Preparing for the Journey ZOOM calls with others going on the trip. If you make a connection with a fellow traveller and choose to room together, we’ll do our best to make this happen (based on guesthouse availability). 

This is a serious investment in your life and a deep immersion enabling powerful transformation. It’s important to understand the potential benefits as you consider this Journey and prepare to register. 

There are many ways to fund this Journey and if you require a payment plan, we’ll do our best to accommodate you. 

The program includes some hikes in nature around Damanhur and the surrounding areas. The area is in the alpine foothills of the Italian alps, but we won’t be doing any strenuous climbing. You must be able to hike for 20 minutes and walk on uneven ground. Sneakers will suffice so no need to pack your hiking boots. 

Within the Temples, you’ll be traversing through some smaller hallways, spiral steps, and sitting on meditation cushions. You must be okay within mildly confined places, able to traverse these areas, and get up from the floor without assistance.

Prior to your journey, you’ll be sent a suggested packing list of what to bring (and what not to bring). The dress code is casual. You’ll want to be comfortable as you tour the Temples, the open spaces of Damanhur, and hike the alpine foothills.

September offers temperatures in the low 70s during the day and low 50s in the evening. Plan to dress in layers and wear sneakers as you’ll be walking on a variety of terrains, some of them uneven. 

Italy uses Euros for currency, as does Damanhur. You’ll be able to use your credit card for food, services, and gifts in Damanhur that are outside of the program. It’s always a good idea to travel with some cash so plan to exchange your currency for euros prior to arriving in Damanhur.

All catered meals within Damanhur will offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free options. Once registered, you’ll be asked about dietary needs and allergies. When eating out in Italy, you’ll make choices that align with your dietary preferences. Damanhur offers cafes and a bio-supermarket with a variety of food choices. 

You don’t need a visa, but will need a passport valid for 6 months past your travel date. ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) is a new entry requirement for people from visa exempt countries who want to travel to any of the 27 European countries in the Schengen Zone, including Italy.  You’ll be alerted when the registration system is is open to the public. It will cost you approximately €7 to register.

Travel insurance provides protection and peace of mind. This is a big adventure with an investment of money, time, and travel to another country. Most likely, everything will flow beautifully for you. However, it is wise to have coverage in unlikely event you are unable to attend the trip, experience travel delays, or require medical assistance. 

For United States citizens, we’ll connect you with Travel Insured where you’ll easily choose from policy options. For travelers outside the United States, we are happy to provide suggestions for travel insurance.

You’ll fly into the Turin airport (TRN). You’ll need to arrive on September 3rd (or before if you choose). The program begins at 9am on September 4th when the group will be picked up at the Grand Hotel Sitea in Turin.

Your program price includes one night at the Grand Hotel Sitea on September 3rd. Arriving a day or two early will allow you to acclimate to the time change and offer you a chance to explore the magical city of Turin on your own. 

You must plan your arrival in Turin on September 3rd so not to miss the group’s transport to Damanhur. If you are flying to another airport or arriving by car, you are responsible for finding your way to the Grand Hotel Sitea.

It will be delightful to meet in person (finally!) at 9am on the morning of September 4th at the Grand Hotel Sitea in Turin. After greeting one another, the group will be transported by our Damanhurian guides to settle within your guesthouse and begin your program. Return transportation to the Turin airport is scheduled on September 11th at designated times. If you choose to continue travels elsewhere in Italy, you’ll be responsible for your own transportation to the airport or next destination. 

Yes, you’ll be able to connect with loved ones while on the Journey. You’ll have access to the internet in the guesthouse and common areas such as the Crea. 

With that said, you’ll be invited to put away your phone (except for photos) during the program so you can fully present to yourself and the group as you immerse in the alchemical adventure. Please prepare those back home for times you can check in (remember the time difference). Let your office know you’ll be unavailable and gift this time to yourself for a deep dive into the magic which will unfold daily. You’ll be gently reminded of this agreement on the Journey if you’re finding it hard to disconnect.
